Answer: All firms are good, Rajesh. You will get a list of firms from ICAI. Make a good resume and send it to each firm individually. Dont do mass mailing.

Answer: As soon as possible. The CA Final is a difficult examination- but not impossible. It requires several months of consistent, focused study. My BEST wishes are always with you.

Answer: Any firm where you feel comfortable regarding- distance from your house, leave that you will get for your exams, how comfortable you feel in the work environment and how BEST you feel you will be able to contribute as a resource to the Firm and learn therefrom.

Answer: There is no need to be tense, Ravi. The processes of Accounting, Taxation, Company Law are the same in all firms- big or small. you need to be keen to learn, and also study hard to clear the Finals asap.

Question: Sir i am already undergoing articleship for more than 8 months in a sole- proprietor firm which i didnt find satisfactory from my first day. I had already sent an email regarding my articleship problem on which you had replied for meeting with you either at kashmere gate or in your office. sir i couldnt go there. So please tell me about the articleship

Answer: Please crystallise why you are not happy with your articleship- which is an integral part of your becoming a Chartered Accountant. You are welcome to come and meet me at Shah Auditorium, Kashmere Gate where I now take Orientation Classes on Fridays.

Answer: During Articleship a CA student learns the nuances of not only Accounting, Tax, Audit, Compliances, M&A...but also of Social Responsibility, Business Ethics & Morals, Trustworthiness; and also Banking, Financial Modeling, Corporate presentations. And not to forget: Business Etiquette, Social Behavior, Teamwork...and more!

Answer: You cannot shift your articleship without the consent of your Principal (employer). Please mend fences with your Principal, and move ahead in your Articleship happily and seriously.

Answer: Please maintain good relations with everyone- that is the key to your own happiness and success. Changing Articleship for the reason stated in your Q, is not recommended.

Question: hello sir how r u sir. sir i have cleared my ipcc group 1 in may 2011 nad given ipcc group 2 xams in this may and now I am searching for articleship. sir for This I have send my resume in many big and mediocre firms of delhi but I havent got any reply from them sir plz help me out for finding articleship in a good firm. sir i want to learn work i dont want just to pass time i really want to learn the work thanks sir for giving your time.

Answer: All CA firms are good. Start off with your articles with the firms that are ready to take you on. And remember, you need sufficient time to prepare for your CA Finals. Also, you may need to write a MORE compelling Resume :-)
