Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FR OG), London; Fellow Indian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FICOG); Ph.D in Biotechnology and allied Management-Law.
The Best Researcher Award-SERD; finalist Star Personality of Year Award-ISAR; Personality of the Year Award-IARE and in Music, her passion, has completed Sangeet Vishara; qualified as grade Artist All India Radio, has produced &
sung two solo music albums in fusion and devotional genre.

She is highly qualified with the latest feather in her cap being elevated as Fellow of the
Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) from London and formerly having been the youngest member of the same college (MRCOG). She is also the Fellow of the Indian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FICOG), Fellow of the Indian
College of Maternal and Child Health ( ICMCH) and Fellow of the International Medical
Sciences Academy (FIMSA). It is exceptional for a medical doctor to have earned a Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology with allied field of Management and Law wherein she has forayed into Quality Management Systems in Assisted Reproduction in India.
She is also armed with post graduation in Medical law (PGDMLS), post graduation in Hospital administration (PGDHA) and is an auditor and assessor of the highest accreditation body of Hospitals in India- National Accreditation Board of Hospitals (NABH). She has other degrees like MBBS, DGO, DNB, MNAMS, FMIS and FRSH (UK).
She has 21 years of total experience including 12 years in medical industry with ongoing 10 years in teaching and research respectively. Her areas of expertise include IVF, ART, Operative Laparoscopy, Advanced 3D Gynae-Ultrasonology and Reproductive Endocrinology. She has trained from London Women's Clinic (UK), University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff (UK), Kiel School of Gynaecological Endoscopy, University Hospitals Schleswig-Holstein, Germany and in India from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Maulana Azad Medical College, Army Hospital (Research and Referral) and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital at New Delhi. She has successfully commissioned, established and run two advanced ART centres. One at Max Healthcare, Delhi ( A quaternary care corporate hospital) where she was the Group Head and coordinator for a hub-and-spoke model with 5 satellite clinics; and the other at Nova IVI Fertility Clinics, Mumbai which is one of the largest fertility chain in India.
Dr Dewan has restructured, revamped and boosted two pre-existing ART units which were in corporate multi-specialty hospitals i.e.
Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi and Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai. She actively promotes and follow the concept of a one stop fertility clinic, has contributed to third party reproduction especially donor eggs and uterine surrogacy and is also working closely with cancer centres to create awareness for fertility preservation. She has been Executive Committee member of the Max Stem Cell Research Committee and Member, Safe Motherhood Committee of AOGD (Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Delhi).
She is highly felicitated with several awards like the Best Innovation Paper on Complimentary Alternative Medical therapy in infertile couples; Best Paper Award on Menopause on phytoestrogens; Dr. C.S. Dawn Best Paper Award on menopause; Best Paper Award on Uterine Receptivity by Transvaginal Doppler Ultrasound in IVF and Best Research Paper Award in perifollicular vascularity in IVF. She has both national and international research publications, published abstracts and has authored chapters in books.
Dr Dewan has been actively associated with teaching programs for MRCOG courses and has mentored and trained nine post graduate students in obstetrics and gynaecology.
She has been faculty including organiser in various conferences, CMEs and workshops.
